The Challenge

The original entrance canopy for the Bloodstone building, a Central Quay office building in Dublin’s Docklands, lacked a sense of presence at street level. Plus Architecture was commissioned to design a new entryway to enlighten, enliven and improve the building's identity.

Working closely with lighting designers from Arup-Ireland, Plus Architecture chose Rosco Custom LitePads to enhance the entryway. To bring their concept to life, 2800K Custom LitePad HO90 units were mounted in the ceiling of the entryway, while others were used to backlight the company’s name & logo. Custom LitePad HO90 is an LED source that provides a soft, even glow. The 8mm thick fixture is available in three color temperatures and can be customized for easy installation into virtually any project.

Results
