Theatre TCU, Almost Maine 2009. Rosco colors used: R83, R64, R60, R317, R05, R132.
The play is set on a cold night in Maine. Each scene is a small snippet of life in the town, each in a different location. The deep cool colors contrasted by saturated warms created an effect of some surrealism, as the show takes on a magical twist. Deep ambers gave a sense of either streetlights or warm indoors. Deep blue backlight and top gobos with R60 gave a sense of moonight as well as the crisp cold air.
