This dance piece was about being trapped inside your own nightmare mind, and surrealism, I felt, was key. R21 back light, R58 SR side, R370 SL side. The beautiful vibrant R58 harmonized with the blue-green of R370 creating a rich dynamic. The richness of R21 helped in setting warmth throughout the whole dance show.

This is a production photo from a production of "Spike Heels" by Theresa Rebeck at Texas Christian University. Director Claire Parker, Scenic Designer Brianna Bonilla, Lighting Designer Jim Rogers. For this design i chose R09, R52,R351,R43 and R16. Each light had R119 diffusion added. I chose these colors to convey a soft look in the apartment while allowing the characters some depth using variations of the warm and cool tones as front and rear lighting.

The Trip to Bountiful by Horton Foote produced by After School Productions. Director: Ben Vawter, Scenic/Lighting Designer: Samuel Vawter, Props Designer: Beth Chrisman. The majority of the lighting was washes of R#02 (Bastard Amber), R#53 (Pale Lavender) and R#384 (Midnight Blue). I used two 77138 (3x4 Window) steel gobos in the opening scene to create the look of an apartment at night, though I cannot seem to find a photo of it.

Thoroughly Modern Millie presented by the Alan B. Shepard High School music department. Directed by Michael Fallon. Lighting Design by Sean Pieroth. The show begins as Millie moves to New York in order to start a new life as a modern woman (Photo #1 R63, R08, R121 and gobo R77563 with gel R10). Eventually her adventures lead her to a speakeasy (Photo #2 R63, R08, and R120). Unfortunately, these adventures also land Millie and her love interest Jimmy in jail (Photo #3 R121 and gobo 77980 with gel R63).
