This is a scene at the beginning of the show. At this point the audience does not know the relationship between these two characters. It is night time. I used a combination of R367 and car headlights at a glow to achieve the look of nighttime parked car.

This photo is of the twin Antipholus' and Dromios'. The play was set in a Parisian Victorian Steam Punk time period, and the clock in the middle of the stage was the controller of a time machine that sent the Antipholus' in and out of Syracuse.

This production was a mix of student written scenes and contemporary dance pieces. There were about 20 different pieces therefore it was important that lighting be simple and able to take the scenes to a number of different locations. Dance pieces were more colorful and upbeat in contrast to the more serious scenes.

There is a shadow play depicting a plane fight behind a curtain. At the end when one of the planes exploded, several instruments with R26 Gels came on to further the effect of the crash. This then faded to black.

In our production of sister act, the lighting was used to create the environment within a monastry. with the use of colour correction a cold 'stone' like atmosphere was created, with warmth added to the stage through the stained glass window. Im conjuntion with the set designer, gel was used both within the lighting design, aswell as in the construction of the set, to create the effect of sunlight shining through the window, by means of backlighting with 2k fresnels.

Intermission look for Act II, which begins with a big "production values" musical number. I was going for a saturated, vibrant mood to play up the drama and fun the actors evoke.
