This production made use of a small studio space with most of the scenic elements being architectural and utilizing scenic painting. The grayish tones that are utilized created an interesting challenge of color mixing with light and I decided to use it to my advantage. The saturated colors of R81 and R342 are used to layer the floor with either a warm, cool, or neutral look which assisted in my design concept of the separation of men and women which blankets the text. Bringing in R37 and R60 in the front and side, brought it all together while R55 neutralized it all.
